ISA TanTec Partnered with Navis Capital Group

We are very pleased to announce that we entered into a partnership with Navis Capital Group. Navis Capital Group is a private equity firm, that has a long track record of successfully investing and growing businesses based in Asia.

Navis is also familiar with the specifics of our industry, amongst others through their strategic partnership with Texon, the world’s leading manufacturer of structural footwear components and materials.

The partnership between ISA and Navis Capital Group creates exciting opportunities for our company. It will give us the necessary means, both strategically and financially, to maintain, support and accelerate further growth of ISA. It also enlarges the possibilities for new acquisitions in the future.

Under the new arrangements, Navis Capital Group will become a majority shareholder of ISA. The remaining shares will stay with the existing shareholders of ISA, who still keep substantial shares in the Company. Certain senior managers will invest alongside Navis in the transaction.

In terms of the Management of ISA, we are pleased to announce that Tom Schneider will take up the newly created position of Executive Chairman, whereas Uwe Hutzler will become the CEO of ISA TanTec. In the daily and operational management of ISA TanTec there won’t be major changes. The current Management Team will remain in place, as to ensure continuity and further development of the Company. A management incentive program will be put in place to ensure achieving long term Company’s goals.

We hope you are as excited about this opportunity as we are. The strategic partnership with Navis Capital Group is an important milestone in our company development and will offer us great new opportunities to further build our business. We have come a long way since 1995, can be proud of where we are today and confidently look into the future with this new partnership.

ISA TanTec was founded in 1995 and currently has 3-ultra modern tanneries located in the USA, Vietnam and China. In 2016, Navis Capital Partners co-invested with ISA as a strategic partner to support the further growth ambitions of ISA TanTec.
