LWG success for ISA TanTec

ISA TanTec, an eco-friendly leading leather manufacturer represented by the LITE (Low Impact To the Environment) Trademark, is proud to announce that its Heshan TanTec and Saigon TanTec, being audited against Leather Working Group (LWG) environmental protocol, have maintained their Gold status while Mississippi TanTec has obtained Silver Award after only 2 years’ operation. Following the recent appointment of Fanny Lan as Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO), the reaccreditations of ISA’s worldwide tanneries with gold rating reinforces its continuous commitment to environmental excellence and sustainability and social responsibilities in the leather tanning industry.

Through the years, numerous environmental solutions such as water cooling systems, resource preserving retanning, direct finishing application, engineered and controlled Wetlands, solar energy and waste management have been in place in ISA’s tanneries to ensure a high standard and ongoing improvement of environmental sustainability in the manufacturing process. ISA is committed to every square foot of leather produced from any of its global tanneries carry the same quality and are all produced by using the best environmental practices.

ISA TanTec was founded in 1995 and currently has 4-ultra modern tanneries located in the USA, Vietnam, China and Italy. In 2016, Navis Capital Partners co-invested with ISA as a strategic partner to support the further growth ambitions of ISA TanTec.
